Why does Do You Yoga feel it’s okay to use yoga to promote alcohol? Just curious.

    1. Hi Yogibattle – scratching my head over this one as I wasn’t aware DoYouYoga was promoting alcohol. I occasionally contribute posts to the site that are strictly yoga and mindfulness-related. I personally do not support linking yoga and alcohol in any way, and none of my contributions have any reference to that. Have a beautiful day and thanks for commenting!

Sorry for sounding rude. I thought you were part of the editorial staff of Do You Yoga. They are shamelessly promoting alcohol on their site. Sure its okay to live and let live, but yoga is sacred to me and these sites seem to be more about money than promoting correct practice. Many blessings to you.

  2. Strange that you got those two weirdly similar criticisms on this and the linked blog.

Anyhoo, I wrote a blog post on subbing classes on the similar topic of why new yoga teachers should be subbing, subbing subbing! I’ve been teaching for years but I still grab last minute opportunities if I’m available, its just fun!

  3. Bless you Michael! And loved the practical tips in your post. Yes when we put our work out there in the blogosphere, we need to be prepared for all kinds of feedback. Happy teaching to you 😄
